About Jennifer

Violinist. Teacher. Musician.

Jennifer Johnson began violin lessons at the age of four and continued her studies through highschool. She attended the University of Georgia where she graduated with her Bachelor of Music degree and Master of Music degree, both in Violin Performance. While at the University, she performed with the Contemporary Chamber Ensemble, the UGA Symphony Orchestra, and the ARCO Chamber Orchestra, with whom she has performed across Georgia and also at Carnegie's Weill Recital Hall in New York.

Jennifer is a founding member of Georgia Strings and, with her colleagues, regularly performs for weddings, parties and special events in and around Atlanta. She is also an active musician on the music team at her church in Buford.

Jennifer has been teaching violin lessons for over 25 years and is a Suzuki certified violin instructor. She currently maintains a private string studio from her home in Hoschton. 

Jennifer is married to Ben and they have three children. In her spare time she enjoys reading, cheering from the sidelines at her children's sporting events and spending time with friends and family.
